A science-fiction writer goes to Hell and find himself making a journey with an unexpected and bizarre companion.
Honestly, you can skip this book. There are some genuine moments, like when the protagonist, given his sci-fi literary background, doesn't believe to be in Hell and "rationalizes" everything he sees as the sadistic creation of some highly advanced alien culture. But everything else is just a washed up Dante's Inferno (which is continuously referenced anyway) modern remake. It lacks a specific plot, infernal journey aside, and the final surprise isn't really a surprise.
In short, it's not awful, but still, better read Dante....Continua
