This introductory book is easy to read, and more thorough than college textbook "Introduction to Logic" by Copi and Cohen in terms of concepts. Graphical illustrations help you capture ideas more easily. The flow mostly follows the historical progress, but indeed it is sorted by topics with logical reasonings to go from one topic to another. At the end of the book, however, involves the applications of logic, which is very broad and its coverage seems superficial comparing to those previously discussed.
The "Introducing" series by UK publisher Icon Book is a very good series, comparing to other series such as Oxford "Very Short Introduction" series. It is a pity that such a series is not available in many countries, not to mention translated works....Continua
