"It", you know it when a church has it. You can't quite put your finger on "it" or fully describe "it" to others, but you know "it" is there. Churches that inspire, are creative, reach out and have a passion for the gospel and sharing the good news with others have "it" . It's what makes being a part of these churches exciting and keeps you coming back for more. But not so that you can just consume what the church has to offer. People with "it" want to share, build relationships and take Christ and his compassion to the world.
When I started this book I was hoping for a quick fix, a formula for how I could get "it" and help others get "it" as well. What I began to notice is that Groeschel doesn't present a formula to achieve or conjure up "it". "It" is only possible when it comes directly from God.
