I was glued to the pages! This is the best of the series (so far) with a complex plot and entertaining characters. Even when I finally discovered what was going on, there was still more to the story. I loved how Barron tied in Tess' remedies with each chapter.
This book contains many references and quotes from Pride & Prejudice (the setting is in Derbyshire and there is a steward named Wickham). Jane also visits Chatsworth house and is introduced to the Cavendish family. I loved learning about the scandals that went on within the Whig society.
