I watched the movie first and it got me wanting to read the book and as usual...the book is better.
First Edition
I think i have read this about 3 times over the years. Read it about 15 years ago and have loved it since. The movie does the book no justice, but if you like the movie, you will love the book.
I worked at a bookstore when this came out. It was the first Crichton I'd ever read. I'd heard that it was going to be made into a movie, so I gave it a try. After tearing through it in one very long night, I couldn't wait for the movie.
At some point I picked up a hardcover copy from the bargain bin.
This is one of my favorite books. I have read it several times over the years.
