  On this book it has been told all the bad and all the good. I have read it a long time ago, I was 17 or maybe 18 years old. Since then, no other book has ever contained more magic than this. It made me fall in love for Spain and Northern Africa, for Spanish and Arabic. I dreamt with Santiago and Fatima for a long time. The tale of this small shepherd leaving his comfort and starting travelling is simply amazing. It reminds me the biblical Exodus, it reminds my wandering around the world. Still today, when I am alone at home, in this foreign country where they speak a foreign language, during the night, I hear as Santiago the ghibli blowing outside while I try to make my way to Pyramids. I will always love this book.
