Provocative operations, Po:
which is a notation used in lateral thinking and to propose an idea. This idea may not be necessarily a good one but able to move your thinking forward to a new place where different new ideas may by produced.
Example:
"The problem is that Corine can't login the anobii"
Po: Try and try continously.
Po: Login in later period of time.
Po: Login in with another computer or network (the IT idea).
Po: Ask admin and anobii must solve the problem (the classic answer).
Po: Use another electronic book store.
Po: Wait until anobii works.
Po: Forget it and tackle a different problem.
These are all provocative operations and symbolize several stages of lateral thinking where we need to work further on the ideas generated to become a practical solution.
