As a student in HKU, I feel sad that I cannot attend Professor Wacks' class as he left HKU already. This book delivers exactly what it promises: a very short, but nonetheless comprehensive, introduction to law. From root of law, branches of law, lawyers and future development, Wacks provided the essential that one should know. I really regretted that I haven't read this book before I enter law school. Had I read this book before entering law school my 5- year University life would certainly be less puzzled and the law courses may be more enjoyable for me.
Recommend for everyone who does not know much about law but is interested in doing so, especially law- students to be.
