  • an unusual twist.

    At times I really liked it but after a while all the lying made the story too hard to follow. You get to a point to where you just think the entire story is a load of bologna.
    I think I believed the ending? ;-)

    This is the best YA book I have read since Cory Doctorow's Little Brother. Like LB Liar is not afraid to tackle "difficult" themes.     This is the best YA book I have read since Cory Doctorow's Little Brother. Like LB Liar is not afraid to tackle "difficult" themes. There is (might be?) a "supernatural" element which I found inititally difficult to digest. Was this really necessary at all? I still don't know, but I sure like the result: Liar is page-turner, yet deliciously ambiguous and complex. More so, in fact, than lots of "adult" genre lit.
