Spookily prescient
This book is about Wall Street in the 1980s, but at many points reading this book I had to stop and remind myself of that fact. The parallels with the events that led to the credit crunch of 2008 are uncanny. It's depressing that nothing much appeared to be learned after that crash, and how the same ... (continue)

Great portrayal of the minds of traders in the investment banking industry... the story of ambition and greed. I love the sections of Michael's personal experience but less in his description of the problems and power struggle of US market
