A brief autobiography of the racing career of Dr. Watkins. It is also an important historical view on how the safety in car racing was improved in the years until 1995. The narration is very intense in some points, especially when the doctor deals with bad accidents and their outcome. On the historical side, I noticed some errors, in the recollection of events, but I guess this is not the point of this book. Sadly, it ends in 1995, while Dr. Watkins was active also after that moment. It would have been interesting to have some addendum on the contemporary period.
