  Everyone has told me how great this book gets - but frankly the point of view of a six year old (even though the multi-generation approach is interesting) just doesn't do it for me - firstly I don't believe 6 year olds think and reason as they are supposed to here and secondly it just isn't an interesting perspective. I was really disappointed after "l'empreinte de l'ange" (mark of the angel) which I loved and devoured... I stopped after 200 pages...
