Just the same as reading online iptables tutorials
The whole book is not much more than an aggregation of online tutorials and man pages. The only useful chapter to me is Chapter 8, which provides tips on how to debug when problems occur during firewall rule creation. IMHO that's the most (and the only) useful part for the whole book.
