I adored this book. It is absolutely perfect and I never get bored of it! I would recommend this to all girls and women and men to try it! Aubrey is such a real girl and very lovable.
After the death of her father and sister, Aubrey's mother is incapable of coping, and eventually wanders off, leaving 11-year-old Aubrey to take care of herself. Her grandmother finds out that she is alone and comes to get her, opening up a new life for her, with a new home, new school, and new friends. Aubrey still has to deal with the loss of her family and the realization that her mother deserted her. You won't be able to get through this book without shedding some tears....Continua
