  I first heard this story in my first graduate program. The professor could not keep from crying. I immediately purchased it.

  I cannot read this without tearing up either.

  Gert, otoh, feels the premise of the book is silly.

  No words can describe how great this book is. I love it so much and keep reading it over and over again...not just to my baby Cherrie, but to myself too.

  My mom used to read this to my brother and I... she could barely make it through the whole book without crying, and now I do the same thing! It's such a touching, heartfelt story - every parent should have a copy for their baby.
