I really enjoyed this story. It has been a while since I read a fantasy book that I just couldn't put down. There is action (political) intrigue, mystery, magic, and some unexpected twists. I really enjoyed this story. It has been a while since I read a fantasy book that I just couldn't put down. There is action (political) intrigue, mystery, magic, and some unexpected twists. The main characters are also very likeable. And the story has enough depth (the world it's set in, history etc.) without making it too complicated (and boring..). This is definitely a new favorite :)
