What happens when a psychic tells Lucy that she'll be getting married within the year? Her roommates panic! What is going to happen to their blissful existence of eating take-out, drinking too much wine, bringing men home, and never vacuuming?

Lucy reassures her friends that she's far too busy arguing with her mother and taking care of her irresponsible father to get married. And then there's the small matter of not even having a boyfriend.

But then Lucy meets gorgeous, unreliable Gus. Could he be the future Mr. Lucy Sullivan? Or could it be handsome Chuck? Or Daniel, the world's biggest flirt? Or even cute Jed, the new guy at work?

Maybe her friends have something to worry about after all....

I pretty much have the same complaints as last time. I literally spotted the plot twists by page 3. Keyes takes forever and ever to get the point. Just to save myself the time, I skipped the end, read it and put the book down for a week. Boredom drove me back to it. The only interesting bits were when she (Lucy) discovers that her Dad is an alcoholic despite the fact that EVERYONE has already told her so, however Keyes has never develops this and she never says what to the father after Lucy deserts him. Also the fact that her co-worker has slept with her boyfriend is revealed in a lone paragraph at the end of the book. This made me feel shortchanged. This book could have been a lot shorter and more interesting had Keyes actually developed the good parts. In my opinion, Gus comes back far too many times to be believeable and if Keyes intended for us to actually believe in Gus she could have made him just a little bit likable because all along I thought he was a drunk from the beginning despite the fact that it took Lucy the entire book to realize it. The most annoying thing about the book was Keyes, over use of the the term "Er...." to fill space. It can be found on practically every page and ever a while gets to be annoying as shit. I'm sure she still has fans out there, but after this, I give up. I'll look elsewhere for my literary smut.
