Alternate history stories are among my favorites, providing there's no Gwyneth Paltrow in them. I am fascinated by the possibilities of a single action becoming uncontrollably magnified by the context, much as the protagonist of this book is shocked by them. How often we thought "if I did that way, things would have gone that other way!". This book shows that things aren't always that easy.
I advise this book to everyone, as other than Fry being a joy to read, it offers a fresh view on a dark period of human history....Continua
