A book just about a elderly house but the cat...

Oscar is the cat of this elederly house and the writer doctor is the only one who doesn't believe in Oscar's gift .. at least at the beginning..

Oscar is the cat of this elederly house and the writer doctor is the only one who doesn't believe in Oscar's gift .. at least at the beginning..
The doctor decides to speak with all the dead patients families that were with Oscar on their own beds in the moment of their last breath..
well...instead of speaking about the cat you get into a new world of the main disease described in the book: the dementia...
To all the people who don't know anything about this disease I suggest to read this book...you'll learn a lot and you understand that the real patients of the elderly house aren't the old parents, the old grandmas or grandpas but those are yourselves - the families, with your own duty to stay close to them during the last moments on this earth..very sad.

I'm am NOT a sucker for cat stories but this one was good. Author's involvement in story was as compelling in its way as the puss's. Story-telling style and obvious fondness for ALL involved completely 'got' and held me.
