    A good book, with pages of true poetry. In the beginning I felt detached from the story and from the characters, and that's the main reason why I give it 3 starts rather than 4. It was like the thread of the narration was artificial. After a while the elements start to fit into place and the initial impression fades away to give place to a very good work of fantasy. Recommended.

    By the way, if you can choose, read it in its original language. To me, the translation sounded a little awkward in the beginning. This must've been contributed to the sensation I was writing about before.
