Decisa a mettermi in pari con la moderna ossessione per Jane Austen, sono partita dall'unico romanzo di cui non sapevo quasi nulla. Reading this novel was like daydreaming. I could feel Fanny's fear, I could hear Aunt Norris's malignancy, and be touched by Edmund's kindness.
