If you enjoyed Twilight, this is a great first book in a series. It is not as good as Twilight but I couldn't put it down after the first 50 pages. I finished the rest in one sitting. Zoey is a great protagonist with special powers and she has a wonderful group of friends at a special school for vampires. Can't wait to read Betrayed which is the next book in the series.
Once you get past the author's unusual outlook on vampires the book is quite enjoyable. Very cute story, reminds me of Gossip Girl or the Private novels with vampires thrown in.
