One of the most detailed works of fiction I have ever read. The stage is truly grand in this historical depiction of Nelson's navy, and the thrills never disappoint. One of the few novels I have truly enjoyed.

The technical detail is so complete it is intimidating at times, and the language takes some getting used to. I re-read this series about every other year.

  • Great series (23 adventures)

Takes you away...high adventure. Pretty much for the male side of the aisle.
