The best part of me is you
This is a light book about the totally light events in the life of a wonderful human being that happens to be a showbiz star. Absolutely politically correct, no names cited, except credits for those artists who wrote the most successful songs for
him (Roby Draco and others). The text is like a river that flows and flows peacefully to finally converge in a two pages letter where the artist states his sexual preferences. It is kind of an apology (totally unnecessary) for not making these statements earlier in his life. The reaction to the book is (I believe) exactly what the author wants, I mean "who TH cares what your tastes are?, you are a great artist and a great human being and as far as I know you have not stolen people's means of living or killed anybody, so whatever you do in your spare time is fine with me" ("let alone how insanely good looking you are", a fan may add). The book also serves the purpose of awakening curiosity over the new CD the artist has recorded "The best part of me is you" and I am sure it triggers tons of visits to his web page. I am also sure that it will skyrocket the sales of this single in i-tunes and why not?, sales of the CD itself. In summary, great reading for those whose vice is to read and don't mind light stuff; not so great if you want juicy and delicious celebrity gossip or you claim to be a "Ulysses" kind of reader.
