    I don't know if this book ended up over-hyped for me or what, but I just wasn't a fan. I expected it to be way better, but for the most part, I was just bored. I felt the characters were dull and the odd creatures just annoying more than anything else. I might read more by this author (because the writing wasn't bad, just boring) but I probably won't read more of this series.

  • First in the series

  • Mercy is a "walker" (skinwalker) who turn into a coyote. She was raised by werewolves. She's a very fascinating character - someone you want to follow, to see what she'll do next. The characters are what make this a good series.
