  Mi ero buttato in un burrone, ma proprio mentre stavo per toccare il fondo avvenne un evento straordinario: appresi che c’era qualcuno che mi voleva bene. Essere amato fa una grandissima differenza. Un fatto che non attenua il terrore della caduta, ma che tuttavia conferisce una nuova prospettiva a ciò che tale terrore significa.
  Mi ero buttato nel burrone, ma poi all’ultimissimo momento, qualcosa si era proteso a fermarmi a mezz’aria. E’ proprio questo qualcosa che definisco amore. L’unica cosa che può fermare la caduta di un uomo. L’unica cosa che abbia in sé la forza di negare le leggi di gravità.
