Not the best essays
Being a sequel to the "Joel on Software" book, it doesn't contain the best essays from his website. Some of the included ones are interesting anyway (and more modern), but the general look is that many essays are there to fill the book up.
Pleasant read, as Joel's writings usually are.

Seh Hui Leong 
Joel shows some interesting ideas here - and some not-so-interesting. And even some that are way off. But he writes well, so it's a pleasure to read, and actually interesting for software developers.
