Arthur Rackham的插畫意外的平易近人（驚），讓我有點失望，畢竟買這本書的時候是非常期待近似於他在Alice in Wonderland的插畫畫風。不過可能這樣的書原本就有觀眾年齡的問題，所以Arthur Rackham也會收斂一點吧？
除此之外，很多童謠都有一種不知所云的感覺（就像我們小時候的童謠），個人有點文化隔閡，可是遇到某些篇章也會覺得很驚喜，像是 "Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee", "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall", (中了_Through the Looking Glass_的毒…）, "Who killed ... (continue)
