  • The way that Linda Berdoll worded things, it seemed as if she was trying to sound Regency-era on purpose, but just a tad overboard. And the spelling of certain words was weird, but still understandable. That's my only criticism in terms of writing style.

    The way that Linda Berdoll worded things, it seemed as if she was trying to sound Regency-era on purpose, but just a tad overboard. And the spelling of certain words was weird, but still understandable. That's my only criticism in terms of writing style.

    Plot-wise - Could any MORE horrible things happen to a single character? It was like crisis after crisis. Made for an interesting read, that's for sure...
