La regina del giallo.

Non dico niente di scandaloso e di falso quando scrivo che Agatha Christie è la regina del giallo. Ma in questo libro davvero si supera; gioca con la mente del lettore, facendolo fantasticare sul possibile colpevole per poi rivelare un finale a sorpresa, da togliere il fiato. Non dico niente di scandaloso e di falso quando scrivo che Agatha Christie è la regina del giallo. Ma in questo libro davvero si supera; gioca con la mente del lettore, facendolo fantasticare sul possibile colpevole per poi rivelare un finale a sorpresa, da togliere il fiato. Quando ho chiuso il libro, stupito dal modo in cui era riuscita a prendersi gioco di me, del lettore, mi sono detto: "Che stronza, Agatha"

金田一味道

這個故事與And Then There Were None一樣，很有金田一的味道（當然AC是老行尊啊！）
荒島（困在雪地的火車）、密室（死者的大門從內反鎖）、打破的手錶、為正義而設計的復仇，嗯，東野老師又要揶揄一番了吧。
其實想看這本小說，是因某天看TLC台介紹這列火車，內部裝潢古雅，看來很舒適呢，如果有時間長程旅行的話，我也希望乘坐。

AGATHA CHRISTIE的推理手法固然引人入勝﹐但她最出色的還是描寫人物的手法。在她筆下的人物都非常立體生動﹐讓讀者能夠即時想像到該人物的神情狀態和性格特質﹐彷如親歷其境。我已經開始看另一本CHRISTIE的作品了﹐在此先賣關子﹐看完後再揭曉。

I'm quite speechless...I've (almost) never been able to predict the person who did the crime in an Agatha Christie novel but have come close many times. You'll NEVER guess whose responsible for the murder in this one. NEVER. But I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone; it's one of Christie's best.
