It's incredible how the author is able to make you love and hate the same character...."Rachel, my torment" indeed!!!

Exquisitely chilling. My favourite du Maurier? Or would that be Rebecca? Difficult to decide, but this has one of the most captivating opening chapters I've ever read. Incredibly written in the first-person from a male character's point-of-view.
