Chelsea Handler has no boundaries and holds nothing back when writing these stories and novels. Just like her show this book is hilarious and finds one wishing she was your best friend
funny at times, a sort of "girl version" of Trainspotting with alcohol in place of drugs and no social subtext. Worth reading if you're stuck in an airport and need to kill some time.
There are many things that Miss Handler and I have in common: the love of alcohol, the love of pills, the love of mixing said alcohol with said pills, and the propensity to make morally questionable decisions whilst under the influence. I will say I loved her second book far more than this one (there were even some points where I found this book a little depressing. Desperado is right). But anyone who mistakenly hooks up with a sombrero-wearing midget, who was passing out chips and salsa at a party the night before, is still a hero in my books....Continua
I think Chelsea is so funny on television but it only came through in small doses in this book. Perhaps it was the topic, the funniest parts involved her friends and family, not her sexcapades. I will try her next book to see if it gets better....Continua
I've recently read this again, a girl friend gave it to me. It is so funny that I just start cracking up everything I read it. Chelsea Handler is really funny though I do admit I have a twisted sense of humour. It's a must-read for all girls who love clubbing; you might find yourself in some of the situations she has encountered!...Continua
