Despite the main focus of this book being about the wider Balkan conflict of the mid-1990s, an uncomfortable amount of it describes the author's heroin addiction. I did not knock a star from the rating because of this, because the treatment of the main focus was very well done, but it would not have suffered to have left those parts out.
