I hate this book. I mean, REALLY hate this book. Cronin is partial to the point of being ridiculous. Regretful, indeed, that amazon.com reviewers conned me into buying this with their glowing reviews. If you want a good biography on Napoleon, read Frank McLynn's. Much better.
