  This is the second novel by David Lodge that I read, and I really enjoyed it.
  I find him extremely clever, his grasp on the reality of the academia and of that of the industry is absolutely perfect.
  Both the main characters are well conceived and represented, but also the secondary ones, all vividly depicted, fit well in the picture.
  Finding some characters from "Changing places" was nice too, and in some way it gave me the urge to read all the other novels!!
  A lovely book indeed, even if something in the ending left me rather perplexed.
