no wonder we were made to read this in high school

This is one of those books that after years of reading it, you still remember its details vividly and you would still recommend it to friends from time to time.

(On that day, the computer at my office had problem suddenly and everything I did from 14:17 onwards was gone. I was really frustrated when leaving the office. Then on the road, I started to read this book and it quickly put me back to perspective of what really matters in life: survival. I totally agree to the other commend that EVERYONE should read it -- then we'll be reminded that how everyday is a blessing in the area without a war.)

  • Breath Taking

Amazingly written in a fashion that will relate to both the young and the old reader. Great for History Classes not only because it is a quick read but also because the author accomplishes so much in so little pages.

  • Terrifying and gruesome. A real look inside Nazi concentration camps and the horrors that happened there.
