I read this book for NaNoWriMo 2008. I think anyone who wants to write a novel would get something out of reading this book, not just for NaNoWriMo. It's a great way to talk about doing a first draft. Its also pretty amusing at times. I wish my characters in my rough draft were that funny. The problem is, sometimes it's a little too much funny filler material and not enough material with meaning. Also, there are sections of the book printed in light gray on a dark gray background which are pretty much impossible to read. Those parts I ended up skipping over.
