This book was written by Nellie Branco and published by Dorrance Publishing Company. This book was a great help to our college search questions. Is your child in their senior year and looking for a college? Do you have everything under control? Well you might want to think again. Do you know how many of the classes will be taught by a teacher with a Ph.D. This is just one question that this book reminds you off. Do you know that some classes are taught by graduate students, and how many? We all know that some students have to start somewhere, so it’s OK for that occasional class to be taught by a graduate student, but the higher percentage number of Ph.D. teachers they have, the better chance at your student getting the education they need. It is questions like this one that the author brings your attention to. If you are in the process of looking for the right college, this book is for you. There is even a form at the end of the book you can take to colleges with you, to remind you to ask these questions. My only downfall with this book is that I feel it could have been more detailed. I almost feel she was trying to keep it short and informal at the same time. Some books just need that extra information to give the full effect. Overall I believe it reminded me to seek answers to questions that I forgot to even think of.
