Oannes According to Berosus

1888. The remains of the ancient nations embodied in the noblest parts of their creeds and motives of worship, are sacred or spiritual parts of their history, and stand to the secular parts as infancy and childhood in all lives to adult manhood and to old age. A theological key is here tried upon the previously closed lock of Oannes. The use of this key as a method brings with it religious considerations, and first and foremost the Word of God and the divine light of it. The careful reader will adjudge whether this key really fits, or not, into the lock of Berosus.
