I was quite curious to read a manga book of 800+ pages; besides, they say that Tezuka was one of the manga masters... The story - a sort of biological thriller - is indeed intriguing, nice plot. The characters are interesting and have a deep psychology; they move in a large setting, from Japan to Syria to Southafrica, which makes the story full of surprises. The drawings are well done and those representing natural or urban landscapes are lovely.
