What a fun collection of poems about cats! Very enjoyable, especially if read out loud.
This is my cat's description, to a tee:
The Rum Tum Tugger is a terrible bore:
When you let him in, then he wants to be out;
He’s always on the wrong side of every door,
And as soon as he’s at home, then he’d like to get about.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book on a late Sunday morning in bed. Ginny and I went to see Cats without having read this beforehand. We didn't know what to expect. The show would have been even better had we read Old Possom's Book of Pratical Cats before. It's very interesting to see how the book had been adapted for the stage. It's fanciful.

"Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" is a set of whimsical poems by T. S. Eliot about feline psychology and sociology and the work inspired the story for Andrew Llyod Webber's one of the longest-running musical "Cats."
