Yes, it did meet expectations proving to be a better read ( for me) than "The Last Don".
Don Aprile, the great American Don has retired from Mafia business and has made sure that his three children are law abiding US citizens. He is murdered and a war ensues for the control of his banks which he has left under the control of his nephew " Astorre Viola" ( who is unaware that he is actually the son of a Sicilian Don) Despite his foppish ways Astorre shows at an early age his true genes and has been trained to protect the family if need be....he will now have to prove to the Aprile family that his help is needed.
I read two previous books of this author in Spanish, and I tried this in English and loved it. Given that there is an age for everything, I know that I am not at the age for these kind of fantasies, but I still liked the neat prose and the vivid descriptions.
