  holy @#$%! have not read a book that made me physically sweat and adrenaline pumping in a long time.

  the only caveat is you need to have competed in some physically excruciating sport (preferably running of course) to really appreciate the book.

  The writer was a runner, and he definitely understands what it's like to prepare for a race, be involved in the race, and be a true athlete. He makes you feel like you're experiencing everything with the main character and runner, Quinton Cassidy.

  Amazing book, will definitely re-read someday- and I can't wait for Again to Carthage!
