    I read this for the first time when I was a sophomore in high school. I enjoyed reading it, though I wasn't too huge a fan of the way the teacher taught it. I remember having to memorize one of Desdemona's speeches to perform in front of the class...

  • Probably my favorite Shakespeare play. "Making a beast with two backs" was when I realized that language is so descriptive.

    My copy of this is marked up with all sorts of notes. I also had the pleasure of seeing Christopher Plummer and James Earl Jones on Broadway acting out this play.
