Book Description
In Pale Fire Nabokov offers a cornucopia of deceptive pleasures: a 999-line poem by the reclusive genius John Shade; an adoring foreword and commentary by Shade's self-styled Boswell, Dr. Charles Kinbote; a darkly comic novel of suspense, literary idolatry and one-upmanship, and political intrigue.

Simply put, this book is exceptional. Easily one of the best books I've ever read, it is a psychological tale, and work of genius relating to the fragility of life. I can't recommend this highly enough; if you really enjoy literature and mentally challenging and engaging novels, this is for you.
Do not own, but I managed to read this.
