  This is Asimov's first novel and you can tell. i loved it, even if the italian translation is old (and you can tell, again) and not convincing. like bits of the end, that I'd have liked to be longer (does Dr Scheckt survive the 60th birthday? Where is he at the end??). And now, my quest in reading the entire Foundation series can go on.
