Most people get presents on their sixteenth birthday. I get a prophecy that could save or destroy the world. That's how it is when you're the son of Poseidon, God of the Sea.
According to an ancient prophecy, bad things will happen when I turn sixteen - because I'm the one who gets to decide the fate of the entire world. But no pressure. This is the one where Kronos, Lord of the Titans, is beginning his attack on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Oh, and the dreaded (and not to mention enormous) monster Typhon is also heading our way. So it's me and forty of my demigod friends versus untold evil...

Soon Percy Jackson must make the hardest choice of his life - a choice that will save or destroy the world.

  • The last book of the series but it is not as attractive as the previous one. The invincibility of Percy is a little bit too over.

  • I loved the whole series but this book was a great ending to a great adventure. This series can be enjoyed by anyone once you get past the fact that Percy starts his journey as a 12 yr old. I can't waite to get into the next Camp Halfblood series!

  • It is an amazing, marvelous book for the end of the Percy Jackson series. Very inspiring and entertaining.

"Hope survives best at the hearth." What Percy said is the best note for this book.

BTW, Demeter is a such cute old lady, I mean, Goddess.
