She didn't say anything, but she didn't get out of the truck right away, either. Instead they slipped into that comfortable zone where there didn't have to be words. They caught each other's eyes. I love you, Will thought.
I know, Cassie answered. But while he was still savoring that smallest triumph, she slid from the truck and walked right out of his life.

..e invece...audiobook. Primo libro versione audiobook.

some time you just hope you can be some one different
but when you find out if your different is a nightmare
you'll hope all of this is a lie
and you only can pary this lie won't came ture!
all the thing you picture is a perfect dream
but you have to wake up
face the big fat lie in your life
and you'll be hurt , so bad

To the outside world, they seemed to have it all. Cassie Barrett, a renowned anthropologist, and Alex Rivers, one of Hollywood's hottest actors, met on the set of a motion picture in Africa. They shared childhood tales, toasted the future, and declared their love in a fairy-tale wedding. But when they returned to California, something altered the picture of their perfect marriage. A frightening pattern took shape - a cycle of hurt, denial, and promises, thinly veiled by glamour. Torn between fear and something that resembled love, Cassie wrestled with questions she never dreamed she would face: How could she leave? Then again, how could she stay?
