the translation of Rhetoric is not as literal as George Kennedy's translation, but still very close to the actual text. This is a very fine edition which lets the reader see how apparently different approaches from Plato and Aristotle in fact presuppose some fundamental background concerns in mind. I'm now trying to disentangle the issue of emotions in Rhetoric and how Aristotle in Book I argues for the usefulness of rhetoric. The alleged "philosophically boring" Book III to my surprise is full of jokes; I definitely recommend it for anyone that enjoys serendipity.
