This is my first Celan book and I can't say much about his poetry, though we've heard a lot of his poetry.
The five stars are given to the quality of the book and the parallel text format that places the German original on the left and the English translation on the right with line-to-line correspondence. I have read a few and feel quite comforting that the translation matches very closely the original. (I don't know German, but it takes only a few hours' time to learn enough to pronounce most of the words.)
The book is solidly bound, which is an absolute must, for it takes a lifetime's use, misuse and abuse of the volume to understand this great poet.
